Using spam filters is another very effective way to fight spam or junk mail.

These programs use some keywords such as  "guaranteed ",  "free ", etc. and block any email with those words. But this has the disadvantage that it sometimes blocks even important emails from your contacts and prevents those senders from re-sending emails to your address. Now you have a new variety of spam filters on the market that are called  "smarter filters ". While these combat and prevent spam in a very effective way, configuring it is a very complex process and is only recommended for technical experts.

New-generation spam filters are different from traditional ones, as they look for statistical data instead of spam features.
